The 4th century BC Bodrum Antique Theatre, or Theater at Halicarnassus, was expanded in the 3rd century AD and stands as a splendid example of Greco-Roman architecture. Once accommodating 13,000 spectators for theatrical performances and gladiatorial battles, the theater now hosts concerts and festivals after a 20th-century restoration.
Visitors can marvel at the architecture and enjoy breathtaking views of Bodrum, its marina, and the gorgeous coastline from the theater's summit.
