This trip was the highlight of an already great holiday. The provider changed the date of our trip the day before departure; this was actually not an issue as the provider was extremely informative of the change and even sent us photos of the bus we were getting, so we knew exactly what to look for!
Our tour guide, Joanna, was incredibly informative on the history of Rhodes. Not only did she convey her encyclopaedic knowledge in a clear manner, she was also extremely funny and made jokes throughout the day that entertained all.
Our stop at Lindos was perhaps our least favourite. It was very hot and very busy (which we knew to expect). We had two hours there and as we chose not the visit the acropolis (due to said heat) we enjoyed some gelato and frozen drinks in the very tourist-centered town. There are some beautiful gems in the cafes and tavernas there, if you look for them.
Throughout the day we then stopped at places where we did olive oil tasting, honey tasting and wine tasting. At each of these stops, there were no pushy sales; we ended up buying a bit of everything as it was all delicious and very good value for money! We also visited a ceramics factory which was beautiful and interesting.
The group size was perfect - we think our group was around 17. Everyone was friendly and the tour felt personalised.
All in all, a great day out!

Our party of 6 travellers ( 3 couples) booked this tour with Trip Advisor & Telia Travel. Without question it was the highlight of our glorious Mediterranean Sea cruise. First, over the months of planning this trip, we asked the company lots of questions, they communicated exceptionally well, responding by substantive replies promptly. The logistic was carefully planned and included all the most important sights of Rhodes, as well as some off the beaten path ones, that allowed us to view daily life among the locals. We give thanks to our guide, Roula, and our driver, Savvas, for making this such a fun and memorable visit. We learned much about Rhodes and the people who live there. Roula gave us personal examples of daily Greek life today. Aside from Roula’s wealth of knowledge about Greek history, artwork and culture, she is such a delightful person to work with, always smiling and laughing with perfect sense of humour, but at the same time always conscious of time and logistics. We left Rhodes with the impression of a hard-working, but not materialistic people, who have a distinct pride in their country. We will definitely come back to Rhodes by air and spend much more time in that amazingly beautiful island!

Our full day tour in Rhodes was brilliant! Maria our guide was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. She spoke clear English, my elder brother is almost deaf, he wears 2 hearing aids, but that day he could pick all the information up without any issues. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time with Maria and the group. We liked Rhodes and all the places that we visited, especially Lindos. We have spoken to few other members who did a variety of trips but this seemed to be the best to all of us by far.
