Anthony Quinn Bay

The bay has the name of the famous American actor Anthony Quinn, who bought this gorgeous place after staring in the movie “The Guns of Navaronne” which was filmed here. The actor fell in love with this location and decided to open in the bay a kind of resort for the filmmakers, but the plan had never been realized. Nevertheless, the place still has actor’s name.

Due to the small size of the bay during the top season it may be a bit crowed but even so there is always the chance to find the place only for you between the rocks.

Anthony Quinn Bay is one of the most picturesque spots on the eastern coast of Rhodes. It takes around 30 minutes to drive here from the Town of Rhodes. The beach here is famous for being an ideal place for snorkeling. The rocks are equally beautiful above and under the water and the sea of incredible emerald color can’t leave you indifferent. All possible beach equipment is available here for rent. There are also necessary facilities and some snacks in the nearby canteen.
