- Madraki Harbour
Mandraki is one of the three harbours in Rhodes. It is famous, because it is believed that the great statue of Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood at the harbour entrance. Today the deer sculptures at the entrance, the St. Nicholas Fortress and a number of medieval windmills create a charming view of the harbour - Lindos
Lindos is one of the most impressive archaeological sites not only in Greece but also in the world. It has traces of different civilizations. Ancient Greek, Roman, Byzantine traditions blend here with the Medieval heritage of knights of the Order of Saint John. The visit to Lindos is like time travel via centuries and civilizations! If you go there, you will be delighted not only by the history but also by divine beauty. Take your time strolling lovely narrow streets of the village abundantly decorated with flowers, fruit trees, oriental tiles and small fountains. You will be impressed by incredible view of the harbours. The Acropolis of Lindos is on top of 116m cliff. For the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Knights of St John and Turks it was a wonderful strategic position. You can walk up the stairs and visit it or explore the village and its cosy bays - Kalathos
Visit the traditional Greek ceramic factory and see how a piece of clay turns into a piece of art. First the father and the son make pottery, then the mother paints it. The family of hard working owners will invite you into their store to present a great variety of olive oil and honey of their own production. Enjoy free tasting of the best local products. - Tsambika Monastery (Pass By)
Panagia Tsambika (Virgin Mary Tsambika) is now visited by thousands and thousands of couples from all around the world each year (both Greek and non-Greek) who have struggled to conceive or who wish to have their baby or child blessed for one reason or another. - Rhodes
Enjoy in-depth your Greek wine tasting experience! Wine is just as much a part of Greek culture as the temples of ancient Greece. Just look at all those statues of Dionysus, the god of wine and pleasure who made it his mission to spread this gift. But going our wine-tasting is about much more than myths and history. It’s one of the best ways to really explore Greece in general and Rhodes in particular. Doing that through wines gets really interesting as you’re introduced to the local grape varieties that give local wines their unique colour and flavour. According to the expert feedback of some experienced wine lovers, local wines can easily compete with good Italian, French & American ones - Old Town Explore the Medieval Town of Rhodes belonging to the World Heritage and is under protection of UNESCO. It is considered one of the few best preserved medieval cities in Europe. Let yourself stroll the narrow streets of the Old City. You will fall in love with their multiple character! You will find Turkish Mosques and Jewish Synagogues, ancient library, bathhouses, and lots of shops. All these apart from charming medieval spirit produces unique atmosphere which will not leave you indifferent
- Transfer Back

bus, small group. Lindos, Seven Springs and Wine Tasting made it a varied experience and no
waiting about or long journeys.
If I was to be picky, the only negative is that we would have liked longer in Lindos as the 2 hours allocated didn’t feel long enough and with it being a tourist hotspot, this doesn’t give you long enough to visit the area and climb the Acropolis.
The turkey sandwich, banana and bottle of water provided was a nice touch ahead of the wine tasting part of the tour!
Is it possible to have an overview of the island of Rhodes, visit some winery and taste some wine, or olive oil and have a lunch at a nice greek place.
It is my husband's birthday and we are 4 adults and would like to do something a little different and special on Friday, Oct 14th. We will be there only for the day coming in on the Norwegian Cruise line called JADE.
thank you
