It is famous, because it is believed that the great statue of Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, once stood at the harbour entrance. Today the deer sculptures at the entrance, the St. Nicholas Fortress and a number of medieval windmills create a charming view of the harbour - Lindos

We were 7 of us doing the Mediterranean cruise with Celebrity in June 2022. We took this full day shore excursion tour with Telia. I highly recommend it if you want to see the best of Rhodes and especially if you are wine lovers. Our guide Dina was amazing, very knowledgeable, friendly, she had an excellent sense of humour that’s why we had much fun and laughed all day long, laughing is even better than jogging .)))) We were 15 people in the tour, we visited the most interesting places in Rhodes, tasted Greek wines, olive oil, honey, bread and home-made cheese. Finally I have learned how to make tzatziki, it was so yummy in Rhodes, what a huge difference to local Greek restaurants. But Dina told me that it was not only the recipe but primarily the quality of ingredients to praise. Really an amazing experience!!

We recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday. We were a family of 12 adults and chose to book this tour with Telia Tours . Maria was our guide and our experience was very positive. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our requests were met, our expectations were exceeded. We got to see the highlights of Rhodes, tasted local wines, olive oil, home-made bread and honey. After the tour we had some free time in the old town and I requested our guide to assist us to the synagogue which we had shown interest in visiting, Maria took us there and told some interesting stories about Jewish quarter and its history. Overall we all loved our visit and time in Rhodes. Maria and our driver Nikos were such a pleasure to deal with, I would highly recommend them.

The Mediterranean cruise through Celebrity was our dream trip. I booked this tour on a friend's recommendation that earlier was recommended by her co-worker. The shore excursions from our ship were too expensive to take and the choice of itineraries was very limited. TA booking process was very easy and help I received from their support was truly commendable. Their Greek tour operator Telia was a beacon of excellent service from the beginning to the end. Our tour was superbly organised, we never waited in a line once and we went everywhere, even into Lindos Acropolis. Our tour guide Ioanna had a great sense of humour she was an expert on Greek history. The small group tour of 16 was easily managed and the bus was modern clean, and with a good a/c Lunch was very simple, just a sandwich and banana but that was all we needed, because we didn’t want to waste more of our limited time ordering, waiting for restaurant food in Rhodes. The highlight was Lindos and the winery that we visited. Their wines were delicious, we bought one box of their white one, unfortunately it didn’t cruise for long with us)))))) To cut long story short I really don't think we could have had a better tour than this. My only criticism was that our ship spent only 6 hours in such beautiful and big island. Ioanna told us that Rhodes was the 4th biggest Greek island.
